Couples Bunco!!

Is everybody getting ready for couples Bunco next month?!? Start clearing your schedules, it will be July 9th (Thursday) at 6:00, my house. I will be bringing a sign up sheet for dinner this week. If you can't make it for July, please call me asap so we can plan ahead. See you soon!!

Ladies it has been a long time since I have done anything like this:) I was going to take pictures and totally forgot. OH MAN... At least this is a step in the right direction;) SO here is the break down, Marci won the GRAND prize of dinner, movie, and bunko for next month. I have just cleaned up the punches since I gave out table prizes and I totally can not remember who I gave them too??? (they are $15 walkers certificates if anyone is wondering) But Natasha won traveler (and I think a table prize), and Annie got the loser prize. The last two prizes where the same a basket of candy and a redbox rental). Enjoy!!!
For our treat we had a Chocolate Cherry Cake:

1 pkg Chocolate Fudge cake mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1 21 oz. can cherry pie filling

mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 for 35-40 min in 9 X 13 (28-33 min in 10 X 15)

Frosting
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. butter
1 c. chocolate chips

mix sugar, milk, and butter until all mixed together then add chocolate chips until melted. pour over cooled cake.

November Bunco

Here are the winners of the evening Annie went home with the Grand Prize after an intense bunc off!! Way to go! The table prizes were Andrea, Britney and Chantell, Jamie took home the Traveler prize and Marci went home with the boobie prize!!

This month marks the one year anniversary of our bunco group! We had a blast Halloween style with everyone dressing up in costume. It was such a fun night, thanks everyone!

My 5 year old told me the next day that the "army guy" was his favorite! Yeah, so Amber was a hunter...but close. And Gage my 3 year old said he liked Bob the Builder best, funny huh Jamie!

In lieu of me winning both the grand prize and the traveler prize, (kinda lame) I have decided to do our first blog giveaway! Vote on the best costume and the winner will get my traveler prize! You have one week to vote so do it now!!

Pumpkin Squares

1 box yellow cake mix
29 oz. solid pack pumpkin
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil or applesauce
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream Cheese Frosting

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Mix all bar ingredients together in a large bowl, spread in greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine softened cream cheese and butter with powered sugar. Mix till fluffy. If not spreadable add 1 tsp of hot water. Spread over cooled bars.
